gorran haven On the Canton at Gorran Haven, Cornwall - minus its handle.

Markings: Flag, 3", obscured roundel prob with "All British Made".

hugh town One of very few remaining pumps on the Isles of Scilly. This one is in the park at Hugh Town, St. Mary's. The trough looks ancient. Picture on the left supplied by Amanda Martin, Curator of IOS Museum, and that on the right by John Bolton - thanks, both.

Markings: "GILBERT 1852". Does this refer to the maker or the sponsor? Assume the former.
