bodedern Bodedern, Anglesey. Photograph supplied by Richard Cossey - thanks, Richard. The pump seems to have been relatively recently re-instated as Google StreetView shows no grill and an empty plinth. Above the portico is written:
 1897
CYFODWYD
YN GOFFADWRIAETH
AM
CADBEN KING PRESADDFED
GAN
ARGLWYDD STANLEY O ALDERLEY.
Which translates roughly as:
1897

IN MEMORY

BY
LORD STANLEY OF ALDERLEY.
