An
interesting hybrid at Ballylesson, Co. Down! The cap is clearly not original
and I'm told by Marcus and his dad that it's made from an old lamp-post.
Markings: "4" on the barrel. Manufacturer: They also point out that the bucket hook is very much of the pattern used by J. Warner & Sons, London. A comparison of the counterweight, the acanthus leaves on the spout and other decorations all suggest that it's a Warner's pump. |
