Crossgar,
Co. Down. Photo supplied by Marcus Simms - thanks, Marcus. Only one flywheel
carries a handle, and it looks as if it was designed in that way. Could this be
why the pump isn't set symmetrically in its alcove - to provide optimum space
for the person using the pump? It featured on the
Crossgar Women's
Institute's golden anniversary mugs in 1998. Markings: A "1" stamped on the end of the axle/crankshaft. Manufacturer: Unk. |
