nottingham A fine specimen at Lenton Lodge, Nottingham. Thanks to Alan Murray-Rust for the photos, who reports that conceivably the pump is contemporary with the date of building of the lodge, 1823. He further states that the fluted casing comprises two full height castings, forming front and back halves, the split being down the centre of the side faces. The spout appears to be cast integral with the front face and the two castings are flanged at the bottom, being bolted to a stone base.

Markings: None.

Manufacturer: Unk.
